Look whose back! I’m finally back home from my vacay and I’m so excited to be sharing with you all the amazing experiences through the pictures and videos I took while I was away. I have a lot to share with you guys and I hope at the end of it all you get inspired to work even harder and reward yourself with a little bit of travel.
Wait a minute, how amazing is this weather though? 🙂 Hope you all had an amazing and restful holiday. It couldn’t have come at a better time for me especially when last week ended at such a bad note, but well, the long break did me some good. Meanwhile, anyone else watching Narcos? I just started watching season one! Thank God for leave days!
Let’s talk versatility! Yes! I think the most fulfilling thing when it comes to wearing or shopping for any outfit is finding an ensemble that’s versatile. It’s always a relief to get your hands on pieces that can be styled with almost anything. From accessories to shoes, make-up, among others.
I think for the longest time, I had always wanted to own a white long-sleeved midi body-con dress so bad to a point where I literally became a little obsessive. The struggle was real. I sort of knew at the beginning it would be challenging to get one until I stumbled upon Kendra’s work and my heart was at peace. 😀
I bet you are probably wondering, Can she play the guitar? I probably can play can few notes on the acoustic guitar but I wouldn’t call myself a guitarist fo sho. I remember we had just finished shooting when my photographer said “I have a guitar by the way” I was like “Wait, where’s it? Let’s take a picture!” I can literally spend a whole evening watching a guitarist, a violinist or even a pianist do his thing on stage. I find it so intense. It speaks to the soul and It makes me so happy! Wait, I think we’re getting a little bit deep here 😀
Howdy you! I hope you are keeping warm as much as the weather has decided to be so indecisive and unpredictable ?. Today is all about my love for textured pieces and how I’m curbing the cold weather especially since panty-hoses are not in the equation.
Whoop! Finally! I’m featuring one of my top favorite occasional-maxi dresses. I’ve had this dress for almost two years now and it’s been sitting a little pretty in my wardrobe all along. Howwwww? What a shame. Ha! But…no regrets trust me.
The weather in Nairobi though! One day its sunny then the other is literally 10-degrees. In this weather, shooting for the blog has become quite a challenge. I’m always crossing fingers that it doesn’t rain , we can work with the gloomy weather at least but we gotta do what we gotta do! :)
We all have this one staple wardrobe piece that we keep somewhere in our closets because for one reason or another we have nothing to pair it up with or rather we have made ourselves believe so. Well, those days are over! It’s interesting how a simple crop top changed my entire look here.
Any bold prints will always add some life in your everyday look and light up a room at any given point. I remember the first time I saw this fabric I was a little bit shy about it and felt the pink prints were way too bold and bright plus I had convinced myself pink wasn’t a color I’d consider in a fabric but when I tried on a sample skirt the tailor had sewn I was happy to carry it home with me!
